The Guild at Ferintosh Parish Church recently enjoyed a very interesting talk by Brian Parry of Ellon Rotary Club on a project initiated and supported by Rotary International in the UK: Aquabox. This is a low tech. water filtration system for use in emergency situations and places where clean water is hard to find. Illustrated is a family version, but it also comes in a small, portable individual version and a larger version for communal use. For more information see Aquabox.org.
