SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet at 10.50am. As always there is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.
PRAYER GROUP The prayer group will meet at 10am on Wednesday 12th November in the hall. All are welcome to come and join us.
PASTORAL CARE TEAM Please contact the coordinator, Janette Steele 01349 861591, if you require some help this week. Remember that we need time to make arrangements and so give as much forward notice as you can.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY The Group meets in the small hall each Wednesday at 1.30pm for approximately an hour. We are beginning for November to study the World Day of Prayer Bible studies “Streams in the Desert”. The first study is looking at John 4: 1-41. We’d love to have more ladies join us for these times of study, discussion and fellowship. Please do come along, you’d be made most welcome.
GUILD Guild Week begins next Sunday, 16th November. Members are reminded to “Wear Your Badge”! On Friday 21st November, there is to be “The Big Sing” in Perth North Church at 2pm. Saturday 22nd November, Dingwall Castle Street Guild is hosting a Coffee Morning from 10am. On Sunday 23rd November members will be taking part in the Morning Service here at Ferintosh to mark the end of Guild Week. Hope you will be able to get to some of these events. Thank you all who made Monday afternoon such a success. It was great to meet up with people from so many different congregations.
REMEMBRANCE There will be a short Service of Remembrance at the Amenities Hall in Maryburgh at 3.00pm this afternoon after which we will be walking down to the War Memorial to lay wreaths.
WORLD MISSION COUNCIL The latest edition, featuring aspects of the Eldership, is now available. Please pick up a copy from the table at the back of the Church.
CRECHE A new crèche rota has been distributed to the crèche team. It covers November and December only, as we are looking for at least two more people to join the team, and hope to include them in the rota from January. This is due to two of the present team now being involved with Sunday Club and FYF, so are not always available for crèche. Anyone who feels they could help in this way (one Sunday per month at present), please speak to Janet Winchester. It is planned to have an “autumn clean” of the crèche equipment on Saturday 15th November between 10.30am and 12.30pm. It would be good to see as many as possible of the crèche team – and anyone else able to lend a hand.
RIVER CAFÉ The next River Café takes place in the church hall on Wednesday 12th November from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not join us for some tea/coffee, home baking and the all important chat? Whether you come along regularly or are new to the area, we look forward to seeing you there.
DOWN MEMORY LANE There is to be another social evening in the church on Friday 14th November 2014 starting at 7pm. The theme for this will be “Down Memory Lane” and there will be a variety of “artistes” to entertain. Following this, a light supper will be served in the hall. Entry is by donation and home baking would be appreciated for this event. Anyone willing to provide baking should add their name to the list at the back of the church. We look forward to seeing you there!
