The Church hall will be open on Friday 28th August from 6.30-7pm and from 11am onwards on the day of the Gala to receive any donations of baking. Many thanks to all who have offered to provide baking and help for the event.

GUILD Advance notice! The new session of the Guild begins on the first Monday in September. Please give prayerful consideration to coming along to the Guild this year. The Guild is a great movement to find out about our church, locally and nationally, and the rest of the world too. The Guild is for everyone – no age barrier and definitely no gender barrier. You meet such lovely people! More details of the first meeting will be in the next order of service.

CHURCH FINANCES In line with the Congregational Board’s decision to keep the congregation informed of our financial position for the month of July receipts from offerings and donations etc. amounted to £3,790 whilst payments were £4,407. This was a deficit of £617 bringing the total deficit for the year thus far to £6,070

The Congregational Board have again decided to hold a Gift Day on Saturday 5th  September between 10.00 and 12.00. The Board are conscious of the current financial conditions in which we are living and are thankful for all who have so generously supported these days over the years. However, given the current finances of the church, felt that we should go ahead with this Gift Day once again. Letters and envelopes giving more information should be with you soon and these are indeed ready for Elders to pick up today.

Order of Service for this week
