LADIES BIBLE STUDY This group meets each Wednesday in the Church Hall at 1.30pm for approximately an hour. It would be wonderful if we had some new members join us even if you can’t do every week but only occasionally. Please give prayerful consideration to coming along to meet with a very welcoming group of ladies. We will be studying “Evangelism: A Way of Life” from the LifeBuilder Bible Study Series of Scripture Union. The study entitled “Creative Communication” looking at Luke 10: 25-37 is our starting point on Wednesday 9th September. Look forward to having you with us then!

CONGREGATIONAL BOARD AND KIRK SESSION The Congregational Board and Kirk Session will meet on Thursday 24th September, the Board at 7.00pm and the Session immediately after. Minutes and Agendas for both will be available from next week.

CHOIR The next choir practice takes place next Sunday 13th September at 10.15 am. There are still a few vacant seats in the choir and you would be made most welcome! Why not come along?

GUILD The first meeting of this session of the Guild will take place tomorrow Monday 7th September at 7.30pm in the Church Hall. We are beginning with a look at the Discussion Topic for the year, “working through conflict”. This should be a thought-provoking but also fun evening. So do feel free to join us. The guild is for all – a movement inclusive of all ages and genders. The Projects for the coming three years will be decided upon and short summaries are available today so that Guild members can have the information before making the decision on the 7th The Treasurer will be available on that evening to accept the annual subscription which is £12. Guild members – think of one person you could ask to join us to help us grow and create a lively group!

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the church hall on Wednesday 9th September from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not join us for some tea/coffee, home bakes and the all-important chat? Whether you’ve been long before or are new to this, we look forward to seeing you there.

NEWSLETTER The next edition of the Ferintosh Focus is due out mid-September. All articles should be with the Editorial team by Friday 11th September.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING On Sunday 27th September we will be having our Harvest Thanksgiving Service. This year we will be asking for food donations for the Blythswood Highland Foodbank (Tins and packet foods). Any donations can be brought on that Sunday and tables will be in place at the rear of the Church and in the vestibule. The church will be decorated for Harvest Thanksgiving and donations of flowers and foliage can be brought to the church hall on Saturday 26th September between 10 & 11am. Any help is always welcome and you don’t need to be a flower arranger to become involved.  For further information contact Jeannette Cameron 01463 870416.
