LADIES BIBLE STUDY The ladies hope to complete the Evangelism studies when we meet on Wednesday 3rd February at 1.30pm in the Church Hall. The title of this study is “Facing Opposition” reading Acts 4: 1-31. The second half of the study looks at the next verses 23-31 and also 1Peter 3:13-16. Do come along. A warm welcome awaits. In the weeks of Lent, we hope to study a book called “Welcoming the Way of the Cross” with daily readings and group questions. Think about coming along to that if you can. We meet each week at the same time for approximately one hour.

Whether you’ve joined us before, or not, we look forward to seeing you there, even if only for a few minutes. Anyone willing to help with baking on an occasional basis should contact Janet Murray. Many thanks!

SOUPER SUNDAY As in previous years, we propose to follow the Souper Sunday programme devised by the Church of Scotland supporting the HIV programme. The Kirk Session and members of the Congregation will lead the morning worship on Sunday 14th February, and this will be followed by a simple soup lunch in the Hall to raise some money for this cause. If you feel you could help by making a pot of soup (six portions) or donating crusty bread, please add your name to the list at the rear of the Church. Please put this date in your diary and try to come along for the soup and the fellowship. Thank you.

CHOIR PRACTICE There will be a choir practice next Sunday 7th February at 10.15am.
