Church News Sunday 24th April

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. As always there is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

PRAYER GROUP The Prayer Group meets on Wednesday 27th April at 10.00am in the small hall.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), if you need our assistance. Please remember to give plenty of notice so that arrangements can be made.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The Ladies continue with the World Day of Prayer material entitled “Jesus said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?”” This week, Wednesday 27th April, we will examine Philippians 2: 1-11. We meet at 1.30 pm in the Church hall and the meeting usually lasts about one hour. Do try to come along and join us if you can. A warm welcome awaits.

Christian Aid Week

15th to 22nd may

We plan to open Christian Aid week with a special service, followed by a soup lunch, on Sunday 15th May. It would be appreciated if you could sign up on the list at the back of the Church, if you can provide soup or bread/oatcakes, and/or if you are able to help in any way on the day, whether setting up, in the kitchen, serving or clearing up. Alternatively speak to Janet Winchester on 01349 865308.

World Mission Council Newsletter

The latest edition of the Newsletter is now available. Those who subscribe to “Life and Work” should receive a copy inside their magazine. Otherwise, please take a copy from the table at the back of the Church. This issues contains a variety of interesting articles under the title “People of the Way”.

KIRK SESSION The Kirk Session will meet on Thursday 28th April at 7.00pm in the Church hall, in private, in hunc effectum, to discuss the way forward following the recent change of Constitution.
