Church News Sunday 1st May

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. As always there is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

PRAYER GROUP The Prayer Group meets on Wednesday 4th May at 10.00am in the small hall.

PASTORAL CARE Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), if you need our assistance. Please remember to give plenty of notice so that arrangements can be made.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY For the final study of this session, the ladies are meeting at Janette’s home, Muirden Road at noon for a soup lunch. We will be looking at the final study from the World Day of Prayer material and examining a familiar passage, 1 Corinthians 13, under the heading “Jesus said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?”” Do come along for this even if you haven’t been before. You’d be most welcome.

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church hall on Wednesday 11th May from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not drop in (even if only for a few minutes) for some tea or coffee, home baking and the all important chat? Whether you’ve joined us before, or not, you will be made most welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!

CHRISTIAN AID We plan to open Christian Aid week with a special service, followed by a soup lunch, on Sunday 15th May. It would be appreciated if you could sign up on the list at the back of the Church, if you can provide soup or bread/oatcakes, and/or if you are able to help in any way on the day, whether setting up, in the kitchen, serving or clearing up. Alternatively speak to Janet Winchester on 01349 865308.
