PASTORAL CARE Please contact the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), or your elder if you need some help. We have a small group of volunteers who will try their best to assist.

CHRISTIAN AID To echo the Minister’s words last week, may I personally thank the stalwart volunteers who braved the inclement weather during Christian Aid week to go door to door collecting.  I am indebted to everyone for their enthusiasm and ‘foot slogging’ in working for this worthy charity.  Hopefully your efforts will be rewarded once the count has taken place, when the grand total will pay tribute to your efforts.

Heartfelt thanks, Joan Mackenzie

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church hall on Wednesday 8th June from 2pm-3.30pm. This will be the last one until September. We are looking forward to welcoming the ladies from Hamilton Bardrainey Guild, who are to be visiting at that time. It would be nice for them to meet some of the Congregation. You will be most welcome to drop in (even if only for a short time) for some tea, coffee and home bakes. See you there!

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Graham can be contacted on 861275 if required for any Pastoral duties.

GUILD Eleven members from Hamilton Bardrainey Guild are travelling north for an overnight visit to Ferintosh on Wednesday 8th June. Ferintosh Guild are planning to join them for High Tea in the Conon Hotel that evening at 5.30pm. The cost of this will be £11. It would be really good if as many members as possible could attend this outing. Please sign up on the sheet at the back of the church as soon as possible to allow the Guild team to know the numbers to be catered for. We also plan to attend the River Café in the afternoon that day. Please could Guild members try to boost the baking that day!

Ross Tain Presbyterial Council have asked that this notice should be passed on regarding their forthcoming Rally. The Rally will be held on Tuesday 14th June at 7.30pm in Rosskeen Church, Alness. The speaker is Richard Sulu from Malawi, and he will speak about his work there. They would love to have us there. Speak to the Guild Team if you fancy going and we can arrange to go together.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Laura Ferguson of the Foodbank thanks us all for our generous donations and support over the last few years. At the end of April figures show, the Foodbank has helped 5826 people, yet another increase of people in our area requiring help of basic foodstuffs. They are asking that in June/ July we could collect/ donate the following items – Orange Juice (long life), tinned ham, corned beef, sugar and sweet biscuits. These are the items that are currently desperately required. Thank you in anticipation of your usual generous response.

Order of Service for this week
