Church News Sunday 4th September

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning

PRAYER GROUP The prayer group will start again on Wednesday 14th September at 10.00am in the small hall

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The Bible study group will begin this Wednesday 7th September at 1.30pm in the Church hall. We plan to study the book of Hebrews this session and the Bible notes for this will be available at the first meeting (£3.20). We will hear an overview of the book by Dr David Moffitt, Senior Lecturer in Early Christian Church at St Andrews University. Do make prayerful consideration to coming along. We would love to have you with us.

PASTORAL CARE The Team would love to help you. Ask either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591) and we will try our very best to be of assistance. Do allow time to make arrangements if you need to be taken to appointments.

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church hall on Wednesday 14th September from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not join us for some tea or coffee, home bakes and the all important chat? Whether you’ve come along before, or not, we look forward to welcoming you there.

NEWSLETTER The next edition of the Ferintosh Focus is due out next month. All contributions need to be with the editorial team by Thursday 8th September.

GUILD The Guild resumes its programme tomorrow afternoon, Monday 5th September at 2pm. The Miriam Singers will be with us to lead an afternoon with the theme “Go in Joy”. As you know, the Guild is for everyone – old, young, male, female. Do come along. It would be lovely to swell our numbers with members of the congregation and friends.

For those who might consider coming along to join the Guild, the meetings are mainly afternoon ones this session and the cost of the subscription is £12 for the year, which can be brought along to the first meeting. Come along even if you can only come occasionally. We would love to see you tomorrow.

CONON GALA Many thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to the success of last Saturday’s Gala. The various stalls and teas raised the sum of £440 for church funds (with a few IOUs pending!) This was a great team effort so thank you one and all.
