On Friday 23rd September, Ferintosh Parish Church participated in the National Prayer Weekend. The sanctuary had five “stations” where different themes were highlighted. This year it was felt areas for Thanksgiving, Malawi, the Church in Scotland, World Events and Personal Topics were appropriate. Quiet music in the background some of the time and some videos of Syrian children and trafficked children were also played. Whilst only a few took advantage of the church being available that day, it was gratifying that those who came got much blessing from it and that one or two people who hadn’t been previously took the opportunity to pray and meditate. Teas and Coffees were also to hand.
This is the third year for Ferintosh to have this type of Open Day. Hopefully, you will seriously consider coming along next time!
