Church News Sunday 30th October

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

RAYER GROUP The prayer group will meet in the small hall at 10.00am on Wednesday 2nd November. All are welcome to come and join us.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY Hebrews 4: 1-13, entitled “Receiving God’s Blessings”, is the topic the ladies will be looking at on Wednesday 2nd November. The meeting begins at 1.30pm and normally last for an hour. We have Bible notes to assist in the study and discussion afterwards. There are still some notes available and we’d love to have you join us. Do think about coming along even if you can’t commit to every week.

PASTORAL CARE If you need some help, why not ask the team to see if we can help. Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591) and we will do our best to assist.

SOUP LUNCH The next soup lunch is being hosted by the Guild and SG Maclean has kindly agreed to come and give us a short introduction to her latest book. If you were at the launch or not, I’m sure you would all love to hear Shona talk about “The Black Friar”. The donations at this lunchtime fellowship will be given to the Guild Project. Look forward to seeing many of you there. It’s at 12 noon in the Church hall on Friday 4th November.

Anyone willing to help with the food or serving on the day, please add name to list at the back of the Church, thank you.

FAREWELL After Rev’d Graham’s final morning service at Ferintosh next Sunday, 6th November, the congregation are invited to join Andy and Margaret in the Church hall for a cup of tea or coffee and home baking and a chance to say farewell before they move to pastures new.

GUILD The next meeting of the Guild will be held on Monday 7th November at 2pm in the Church hall. We hope to study the Bible in the story of “The Road to Emmaus”. As you know the Guild is for all – young, not so young, male and female. Do come along to enjoy the fellowship and learn about the Guild theme this session of “Go in Joy”. We’d love to have you with us and there is, as always, a very welcome cuppa at the end!

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church hall on Wednesday 9th November from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not drop in for some tea/coffee and home baking and the all important chat? We look forward to seeing you there.
