The Prayer Group are happy to pray for any requests which any of the congregation have. Feel free to put any in the box in the vestibule.

CHRISTIAN AID AT CHRISTMAS if Christian Aid isn’t already on your present list this season, perhaps you might like to consider helping those around the world less fortunate than yourself.  There are so many ways Christian Aid is trying to help young and old people lessen their struggle to survive in this turbulent period of their
lives. Christian Aid has a web site which can be accessed by clicking on or contacting the Perth (Scottish) office 01738 643982 or, this will give you so much more valuable information about the work of this charity. Thank-you for considering this appeal, and wishing you all a very happy festive season, and peaceful year ahead.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Have you thought of a reverse Advent Calendar? Instead of getting something from the Calendar, why not put something for the Foodbank into a box/bag/basket each day of Advent to help those in need this season.

FLOWER CALENDAR The Flower Calendar is now ready for collection and can be uplifted from the back of the Church.

PASTORAL CARE Please contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591) if you need some help. We will try our very best to be of assistance. Remember we do require time to arrange lifts to appointments.

MARYBURGH FREE CHURCH CAROL SERVICE Maryburgh Free Church will be holding a Christmas Carol Service on Friday 23rd December at 6.30pm.

SCOUT POST 1st Conon Bridge and Maryburgh Scout Group would like to thank the residents of both Conon Bridge and Maryburgh for once again supporting our Scout Christmas Post. We raised an amazing £514 and we delivered just over 1,200 cards to both villages. Cathy MacKintosh (Maryburgh) and Janice Weir (Conon Bridge) were the winners in the Cake Competition, the cakes being donated by Fiona Will to who we offer our grateful thanks.

EVENING SERVICES The Kirk Session have decided that due to declining numbers and the possibility of bad weather in the coming months there will be NO Sunday Evening Services in January and February 2017. The Kirk Session will review this decision in the New Year with regards to Sunday Evening Services from March 2017 onwards.

WATCHNIGHT OFFERING The Offering at this year’s Watchnight Service will be used to support the work of Shelter.
