HOLY COMMUNION A fortnight today, Sunday 5th March, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion at our morning worship at 11.00am. The Kirk Session are asked to meet in the small hall at 10.45am prior to worship.

SOUP LUNCH The last soup lunch for this session takes place in the Church Hall on Friday 3rd March at 12 noon. Our speaker that day is to be Jane MacLaren, Principal Welfare Officer, who will speak on “Welfare Benefits and Entitlements”. This should be a most interesting and informative talk so good support would be appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you there.

SCOTTISH EVENING There is to be an evening of Scottish Entertainment in the Church on Friday 24th February starting at 7pm. This will be followed by a light supper in the Church Hall. Entry is by donation with proceeds going to Church funds.

Entertainment will be provided by the Inver-Ross Accordion & Fiddle Group and well-known Scottish Piper Duncan MacGillivray. Other artistes include a local Gaelic Singer and Highland Dancer to add to our line up. We hope you will join us in what should be a most enjoyable event.

Donations of home baking would be greatly appreciated and if you can help with this, or with setting up the venues, or helping on the night, Please add your name to the list at the back of the Church. The Church Hall will be open to receive donations of baking from 6pm onwards on the evening of the 24th February.

ELECTORAL REGISTER If any member of the Congregation wishes to inspect the Electoral Register that the Kirk Session has produced as a result of the Vacancy to check that their names and addresses are correctly included on it, this must be done either immediately after this mornings service by seeing the Roll-Keeper, Mr. John Smith in the annex, or on Saturday 25th February between 10am and 12 noon in the Church Hall where the Session Clerk, Mr. Martin McLauchlan will be available. If anyone has any questions regarding entries on the Register, these need to be brought to the attention of the Kirk Session before they meet on Sunday, 26th February after morning worship. Once the Electoral Register has been confirmed at the Kirk Session on Sunday, 26th February, it cannot be modified or amended for a period of six months.

KIRK SESSION There will be a short Kirk Session Meeting on Sunday, 26th February 2017 at approximately 12.15pm in the small hall to be chaired by our Interim Moderator, Rev. Scott Polworth. The only item of business will be to finally confirm the names on the Electoral Register.

CRECHE Could all the crèche helpers please meet in the small hall after the service today, as we need to discuss whether and how we can continue to provide this service. It would be much easier if we had even two more regular helpers, so if you think you could help, please come along to the meeting.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER Ferintosh Parish Church will be hosting the World Day of Prayer this year. The service, prepared by Christian women from the Philippines, will be held on Friday 3rd March at 7.30pm. It would be good if we, as host congregation, turned out in good numbers to support this. Volunteers (men and women) are also required to read parts of the service, welcome people at the door, and provide a cup of tea afterwards in the hall. Please add your name to the list at the back of the Church if you can help.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Russel Smith can be contacted on 861011 if required for any Pastoral duties.
