Christian Aid WEEK AND THE BIG BREKKIE Last Saturday’s Big Brekkie on 20th May raised the magnificent total of £415.85 from donations.  Thanks go to all who helped in any way prior to the event, on the day itself and to everyone who donated food, congregation members, local businesses, and those who came along to enjoy the food and fellowship for this fund raising event.

The final total from all monies raised from Christian Aid week will be announced as soon as the ‘big count’ has taken place.

CHURCH FINANCES For April, receipts amounted to £2,606 and Payments to £4,630 leaving a monthly deficit of £2,024.  The deficit for the year to date (i.e. 4 months) amounts to £3,547.

Kirk Session Minutes A folder has been placed in the Annexe of the Church containing copies of the Minutes from recent Kirk Session Meetings for use by members of the Congregation. Please do not remove the folder from the church and leave it in the annexe once finished with. Minutes of future Kirk Session meetings will be added once they have been agreed as a correct record.

Can you help? Members of the congregation will be aware that our organist, Doreen Suckling, is currently unwell and unable to play for us on a Sunday morning. Finding a relief organist is at times proving difficult if not impossible, and so we are very grateful for Hugh Steele acting as the Digibox operator. However, we need to identify more Digibox operators so as to share the load. Therefore, if you would be willing to be trained as a Digibox operator, please contact either the Session Clerk, Martin McLauchlan, or Hugh Steele. Full training will be provided.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Russel Smith can be contacted on 861011 if required for any Pastoral duties.
