There are some invitations at the back of the Church if you think this would be something you’d like to try. Please give it prayerful consideration. A warm welcome awaits!

HIGHLAND FOODBANK At this harvest time, this congregation has been asked to donate the following items – tins of ham; packets of sweet biscuits; tins of custard; jars of pasta sauce; tins of potatoes; shower gel/ shampoo. Other congregations have their own items to collect. This year just over 6000 people throughout Highland have been helped. The need remains high. This level of help can only be maintained due to your generosity. Thank you all.

GIFT DAY 2018 The Annual Gift Day will be held next Saturday 8th September between 10am and 12 noon.

OUR FINANCES Over the period from January to July this year, Our Church’s payments exceeded its receipts by over £14,000.  Much of this (about £10,000) was attributed to the costs of necessary repairs and upgrading of the Manse property in January and February. Hopefully, with the forthcoming Gift Day on 8th September, our funds will be restored to a more comfortable position.

NEWSLETTER The next edition of the Ferintosh Focus Newsletter will be published later this month. All articles and features should be with the Editor by 14th September please.

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe is due to take place in the Church Hall on Wednesday 12th September from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not drop in for a chat and some tea/coffee and home baking? We look forward to welcoming you there. Would you be willing to provide baking for this worthwhile event, on an occasional basis? If so, can you please add your name to the list at the back of the church, or speak with Janet Murray. Many thanks.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING The Harvest Thanksgiving will be held on Sunday 30th September and as usual the Church will be decorated with baskets of flowers. The hall will be open from 9.30am on the Saturday to accept flowers, foliage  and small baskets and if you can help in any way you will be made most welcome. Being a flower arranger is not essential!   The baskets can be uplifted after the morning service for distribution.
