Church News Sunday 23rd December

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club for nursery and primary children is today at 10.20am.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 1015-1045 each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. Those who have participated come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM You can be helped by the Team by contacting either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591). We will try our very best to assist. Remember to allow time for arrangements to be made if you need to be taken to an appointment.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The ladies completed the four Advent studies on “Angels from the realms of glory” which proved so interesting as we looked at our everyday lives in relation to Advent. We are taking a short break and will resume our meetings on 9th January 2019. Happy Christmas and hope to see you after the holiday.

WYVIS HOUSE There is to be a service at Wyvis house this afternoon (23rd December) at 4pm. The residents are always happy to see people from the congregation join them in worship

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Thank you all for your amazing generosity to those less fortunate than us. Unfortunately, the foodbank is still needed. We hope you can continue to donate. The list of foodstuffs can be seen in the annex of the Church but other items such as cleaning stuffs and toiletries are also so very necessary. Thank you.

USED STAMPS As Christmas mail arrives, please remember to keep your stamps for the World Mission Council used stamp appeal. Cut them off, leaving a half inch margin if possible, but in any case perforations must be intact. It is helpful if UK and foreign stamps are kept separate.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Stephen Macdonald can be contacted on 864273 if required for any Pastoral duties.
