HOLIDAY CLUB Holiday club meets today at 10.50 and will run through the school holidays.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 1015-1045 each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Yet again in the press we hear how necessary the foodbanks throughout the country are. Such a disgrace, yes, but we can help by donating non-perishable food items. In this time of school holidays where there are no school meals, it is good to provide for those much less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you for your past generosity.

CROSSREACH CrossReach is 150 years old. Today there is a retiring collection at both services for the work they do, in particular the work going on in Inverness in their Counselling Service which helps people in one-to-one situations but also works in the local secondary schools helping to give advice and help to any who might be experiencing mental health issues or loneliness. This seems to be a huge problem at this time so I hope you will feel this is a worthy cause. There are Gift Aid envelopes which can add value to your donation. There are a few leaflets at the back of the Church about the work with young people.

GIFT DAY 2019 It has been agreed that our Annual Gift Day will be held this year on Saturday 7th September between 10am and 12 noon. Invitation letters will be issued shortly.

SUNDAY TEAS Enjoying a chat over a cup of tea is an important part of our Church Fellowship. With people away at this time of year, the tea rota is rather slow to fill up. Could you help by taking a turn so that we can continue to have this important time together? All we ask is that you supply milk and biscuits. It is not necessary to bake for this. If you can help, please add your name to the list in the hall or speak with Janet Murray who will gladly explain the format to you. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

FLOWER FESTIVAL Kilmuir Easter Church are holding a Flower Festival which runs today between 2pm – 4pm.

SEAFORTH HOUSE There is a service today at Seaforth House at 3 pm. Our team is a little bit short at the moment so if you feel that you could come and worship and help at any of the services there ,even for one or two times a year that would be a great support. The residents always like to see us coming from Ferintosh.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Russel Smith can be contacted on 861011 if required for any Pastoral duties.
