HOLIDAY CLUB Holiday club meets today at 10.50 and will run through the school holidays. Sunday Club and Breakfast Club will resume next Sunday.
PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.
Informal prayer time before the morning service From 1015-1045 each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.
PASTORAL CARE TEAM If you need help don’t hesitate to contact either your district elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591),and we will do our very best to assist. Remember to allow time for arrangements to be made.
HOLY COMMUNION On Sunday 8th September we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion at our morning service at 11.00am and at our evening service at 6.30pm. The Kirk Session are asked to meet in the small hall at 10.45am prior to morning worship.
KIRK SESSION The Kirk Session will meet at 7.00pm on Thursday, 22nd August in the Church Hall. Elders who receive the Minutes and Agenda by email should now have received them. Elders who receive printed copies of the Minutes and Agenda can uplift them today.
HIGHLAND FOODBANK More reports in the media about the increased use of foodbanks. Sadly their service is more in demand than ever. Please help them by donating non-perishable goods, toiletries, baby supplies or cleaning materials. Small packets of these items are best for lasting the three days offered. Your generosity is still required and you can be assured it makes a difference to people’s lives. Thank you.
CROSSREACH The amazing sum of £101.50 has been donated on the congregation’s behalf to CrossReach Counselling Service, Inverness. This was collected at the retiring collection. Once again thank you for your generosity.
GIFT DAY 2019 It has been agreed that our Annual Gift Day will be held this year on Satur day 7th September between 10am and 12 noon. Invitation letters will be issued shortly.
SUNDAY TEAS Enjoying a chat over a cup of tea is an important part of our Church Fellowship. With people away at this time of year, the tea rota is rather slow to fill up. Could you help by taking a turn so that we can continue to have this important time together? All we ask is that you supply milk and biscuits. It is not necessary to bake for this. If you can help, please add your name to the list in the hall or speak with Janet Murray who will gladly explain the format to you. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
World Mission Council Used Stamp Appeal If you have any stamps for this appeal, could you please put them in the red box in the annexe, or give them to Janet Winchester, by Sunday 1st September. It is helpful if stamps are trimmed with a border of half an inch, though if this is not possible, at least all perforations must be intact. It is also helpful if UK and foreign stamps are separated. Thank you.
PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Macdonald is on holiday until Saturday 24th August. Rev’d Russel Smith can be contacted on 861011 if required for any Pastoral duties.
