Church News Sunday 24th November

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning. The Youth Club will meet fortnightly on 29th November and 13th December.

BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club for nursery and primary children is today at 10.20am.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 10.15-10.45am each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The meeting on Wednesday 27th November will take place at Janette’s, 17 Muirden Road, Maryburgh, where a warm welcome awaits those who want to study God’s word together. We meet this week at 12 noon for a bite of lunch and will then continue studying 2 Timothy 4 entitled “Be Prepared”. Do come along and give it a try.

BUNDLES OF FUN For all parents/carers, babies + toddlers, every Thursday in the hall from 1pm-2:30pm. Come along and relax over a cup of tea/coffee whilst you watch the children play.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM Please remember we are here to help with transport and visits. Just let us know what you need and we will try our very best to assist. Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591). Do allow time for arrangements to be made.

FERINTOSH FOCUS The next edition of the Ferintosh Focus will be published in early December. Any articles to be with the Editor by Friday 29th November please.

COFFEE MORNING There is to be a Coffee Morning in the Church Hall on Saturday 30th November from 10am-12 midday. Entry is by donation with proceeds going to Church and Community Activities. Teas will be provided. There will be a variety of stalls including Christmas Decorations and Gifts, Crafts, Baking/Produce, Books and many more surprises and bargains! (No bric-a-brac)! The hall will be set up on Friday 29th at 2.30pm and will also be open from 6pm-7pm to receive any donations for the teas and sales tables. The hall will  again be open from 08.30am on the Saturday for contributions. There is a list at the back of the church for names and details of how you can help with this event. Please add your name as your help and support would be most welcome at this church/community event. We look forward to seeing you there.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE Seaforth House is holding their Christmas Fayre on Saturday 30th November from 12-3pm and would be glad of any support.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Why not fill a “bag for life” as a Reverse Advent Calendar? Pick up a leaflet at the back of the Church for more details. Great idea! On the leaflet, it says the foodbank have lots of soup, beans and pasta for now but all other non-perishable foods are very welcome along with toiletries and cleaning materials. Thank you for your continued support for the most needy in our community.

FERINTOSH & RESOLIS FREE CHURCH LADIES WFM GROUP Ferintosh & Resolis Free Church Ladies WFM Group would like to invite you to their Christmas Evening on Monday 2nd December at Resolis Free Church.
The speaker will be Allan Dunbar from Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and there will be a variety of craft sales tables in aid of the WFM projects. Tea, coffee and home baking will be also served and a chance to blether with old and new friends. The evening starts at 7.30pm. Please come along and bring a friend, a warm welcome awaits.
