Church News Sunday 22nd December

HOLIDAY CLUB Holiday club meets today at 10.50 and will run through the festive holiday.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 10.15-10.45am each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The group is having a short break over the Christmas period and will resume on Wednes day 8th January at 1.30pm in the Church Hall. Please give prayerful thought to coming along to study God’s word. Maybe a good resolution for 2020?

PASTORAL CARE TEAM The Team is available to help. Just call either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591), and we will do our very best to assist.

BUNDLES OF FUN Thank you to all the parents and toddlers who came to our Christmas party in the hall on Friday. It was great to see the hall packed and everyone enjoying the Christmas celebrations. The children received presents from Santa, the adults had some delicious Mulled wine, and there was plenty food for everyone. Special thanks to Shona, Erica, Liska and others who help and support when they can. We are on holiday now but we look forward to seeing everyone again in the New Year!

WYVIS HOUSE There will be a service at Wyvis House this afternoon from 4pm and lasts about 20-30 minutes. All are welcome.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK As you know the need is still great. Please donate whatever you can in non-perishable foods, toiletries, baby items or cleaning materials. Thank you all so much for your generosity.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Stephen Macdonald can be contacted on 864273 if required for any Pastoral duties.
