What a glorious day out we had on Thursday 2nd June courtesy of the Seagull Trust! We boarded the boat at Tomnahurich Bridge and sailed through the two swing bridges to Dochgarroch. We saw a huge heron on the bank, some paddle boarders, some canoists–one with spaniel who would jump on and off the canoe– and lots of cyclist and walkers on the path alongside. We even had a great view of the Loch Ness Monster! Really!
The ladies all had a wonderful day out and the weather suited the mood. Our grateful thanks go to Isobel Thomson who is a volunteer crew member and had extended an invitation to us. Isobel goes the extra mile with superb eats and we even had a birthday cake to celebrate two upcoming birthdays, one of whom was the captain of the boat!
All in all, a great day out!
