Church News Sunday 14th December

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet at 10.50am. Sunday Club and FYF will finish for the Christmas holidays on 21st December and will return on Sunday 11th January. As always there is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

Thank you to everyone who donated money last Sunday in aid of our sponsor child Natalia. The fantastic amount of £241 was raised. This money will ensure that we are able to continue to support her for another year. We were delighted to see so many people in the Church hall after the Service and hope everyone enjoyed the time of fellowship together.

PRAYER GROUP The prayer group will meet at 10am on Wednesday 17th December in the hall. All are welcome to come and join us.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM Don’t hesitate to make contact if you need some help. You can contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), and we will do our best to assist. Please remember to give as much notice as you can to allow arrangements to be made.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The final study of 2014 will be held at Janette’s (17 Muirden Road) at 1pm where we will study Isaiah 7: 10-16 with emphasis on the situation in Iraq. We are having some Soup and Sweets together. Do come along and enjoy a time of fellowship and thoughts around God’s word. All very welcome. The first meeting in 2015 will be in the Church Hall at 1.30pm on January 7TH. Look forward to having lots of Ladies there.

MIRIAM SINGERS Thank you all the Ferintosh folk who made the journey to Rosskeen on a cold and frosty evening. I think we all enjoyed the fun and laughter but also the message of the Christ Child in readings and song. Thank you.

ADVENT REFLECTIONS ALTERnativity are posting Advent Reflections on Facebook.  Hopefully, they will provide a little food for thought as we head towards Christmas Day. They can be found at www.facebook.com/JustGodSimplyChristmas You might be surprised at the reflections, like eating chocolate!

STORAGE TINS Following recent social events in the hall, we seem to have amassed a collection of storage tins and serving plates. If you wish to reclaim yours, they can be found in the small hall.

SUNDAY TEA ROTA There is a new Sunday Tea Rota available and if you feel you can take a turn to make the tea/coffee following Morning Worship, please add your name beside the relevant date. The list can be found on the notice board in the hall. With numbers increasing, you may find it easier to work with another person. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Janet Murray. Many thanks.
