Church News Sunday 27th December

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF are on holiday and will return on Sunday 10th January. As always there is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

PRAYER GROUP The Prayer Group has now stopped for a few weeks and will restart again on 13th January.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM As always a dedicated group of helpers are willing and anxious to be of assistance. Please let us know if you need our help. Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), and we will do our very best to help. Please do allow time for arrangements to be made.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY The group will resume in the New Year on Wednesday 6th January.

GUILD First meeting will be held on January 4th 2016.

SCOUT POST Conon and Maryburgh Scout Group would like to thank everyone who supported the Scout Post in Conon Bridge and Maryburgh this month. We are pleased to report that we were able to raise the sum of £447.85 between the two villages. We are very grateful for everyone’s generosity.

SAVE OUR STAMPS As Christmas cards begin to drop through letterboxes, please remember to save the stamps for the World Mission Council Used Stamp Appeal. Perforations must be intact, and a half inch margin should be left round the stamp(s) where possible. It is helpful if UK and foreign stamps are packaged separately. Stamps can be left in the red box in the annexe any Sunday. The project to be supported in 2016 will be intimated as soon as this information is available.

PVG TRAINING The Presbytery Protection of Vulnerable Groups Training Coordinator has arranged a training session for all volunteers who work with children and adults within our congregation. Training is now required for all PVG certificate holders. The training session will be held here in the Church hall at 7.00 p.m. on 12th January. It is expected that the session will last for approximately 2 hours and it is likely that we will be joined by members of other congregations. In order to assist with the planning of the session it would be appreciated if you could let Hugh Fraser know if you will be able to attend at hughfr1@aol.com or by phoning 01997433384.
