Church News Sunday 26th June

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. As always there is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning. Sunday Club and FYF will finish today for the holidays and will restart again on Sunday 21st August, however, as always children are welcome in Church over the holidays and we would be delighted to see them.

PRAYER GROUP The next prayer meeting will take place on Wednesday 29th June at 10.00am in the small hall.

PASTORAL CARE Please contact the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), or your elder if you need some help. We have a small group of volunteers who will try their best to assist.   The Team is getting smaller as the volunteers are getting less able themselves. If you could help the Team even on an occasional basis, please speak to Janette Steele, coordinator.

FERINTOSH FOCUS Folders for distribution of the June 2016 edition of the Ferintosh Focus are available in the annexe.

Guild Thank you to all who made it on the visit to Cameron House. What a great uplifting afternoon we had with staff and residents!  You had to be there to hear us sing some Psalms and favourite hymns. A real joy to have been there.

There is a list at the back of the Church for anyone from the Guild or Pastoral Care Team who would like to join the Seagull Trust cruise on Thursday morning August 4th. It doesn’t matter if you have enjoyed this trip previously – we can go again!

Haematology Coffee Morning Thank you, thank you, thank you! The amazing sum of £460 was handed over to the Haematology Endowment Fund at Raigmore Hospital. Thanks go to all the hard workers prior to the event and during the event and after the event. However, most of the thanks go to the exceedingly generous people who turned up and enjoyed the company and those who couldn’t be there but donated too. Exceeded all of Janette and Morag’s expectations.

World Mission Council Newsletter The latest edition of the newsletter, exploring the issue of caring for creation, is now available. Most people who receive “Life and Work” will have found a copy inside their magazine. Further copies are available for anyone interested on the table at the back of the Church.

The Leprosy Mission (Scotland) One person handed in a Leprosy Mission collection box during the Christian Aid Week collection. The empty box is available from Janet Winchester. If anyone else has money at home which they would like to send to The Leprosy Mission, please give it to Janet.
