Yes something different this year to end Christian Aid Week.  We are planning to serve a Big Brekkie, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday 20th May in the Church hall, open to the whole community, so will need your help if it is to succeed.  Please speak to Janet Winchester or Joan MacKenzie if you can help in any way, donations of your time and food will be greatly appreciated.  We will also be having our door-to-door collection, which has always been our main fund raiser, so volunteers also please to step out in Conon and Maryburgh happily shaking cans.

Christian Aid Music Quiz This year we have a really fun ‘pop’ music quiz which should appeal to anyone into 60s/70s music, so please take a sheet or more and enjoy flexing your brain cells.  Copies available on the table with other notices in church, with box for donations, minimum £1.

CrossReach Old Pounds, New Opportunities – CrossReach have developed a cube box to put your Old Pounds into and by saving them they hope to bring New Opportunities to young children from all over Scotland who look to CrossReach for assistance. CrossReach believes that this simple, yet effective, idea can help transform a life one box at a time. Janette Steele, your congregation’s supporter for CrossReach will be sending for some boxes. If you’d like to participate please put you name on the sheet at the back of the Church after today’s service.
