PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued. The small group is very friendly and there is no pressure to pray aloud if you do not wish to.

PASTORAL CARE If you need some assistance, please contact the Team who are very willing to help. Either contact your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591), and we will do our best to help. Remember to allow time for arrangements to be made to be taken to appointments.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY Wednesday 13th June is our final study for this session. We are looking at Luke and Acts as two volumes of one book written by Dr Luke. Having examined “The Kingdom Comes”, “The Holy Spirit Empowers”, “Jesus Saves”, “The Excluded are Included”, “The Word Spreads”, this week we look at “Power and Wonder”. The ladies are meeting at 17 Muirden Road at 12 noon this final week. Please come along if you can. Even if you haven’t been previously, you’ll be given a very warm welcome.

NEWSLETTER The next edition of the Ferintosh Focus Newsletter will be published next month. All articles and features should be with the Editor by 15th June please.

KIRK SESSION The Kirk Session will meet at 7.00pm on Thursday 14th June in the Church Hall. Minutes and agendas will be available to uplift shortly. Elders who have elected to receive them by email should now have them.

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church Hall on Wednesday 13th June from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not drop in for some tea/coffee, home baking and the chance to meet up with friends for the all-important chat? This will be our last Cafe until September so we look forward to welcoming you there.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Please continue to give generously as you have been doing so because school holidays are looming large and many people will be wondering how they are to make ends meet. The Foodbank is more necessary than ever. Thank you for providing non- perishable foods, toiletries and baby products.

CHRISTIAN AID – GREAT NEWS The final total of money raised for Christian Aid this year from Ferintosh Church of Scotland, and Maryburgh Free Church, is £2,022.70.  A magnificent sum! This includes donations from the Soup Lunch, Quiz, envelopes from the church plate, plus all door-to-door collections and local businesses.  A big THANK-YOU to all who helped in any way to achieve this wonderful figure.  The efforts of the volunteer street collectors were a great help in the success of our fund raising this year.  Thanks also go to the trio in the ‘counting house’ .
