Church News Sunday 24th June

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF have a break for the summer but in it’s place we will have a summer club which will include games & crafts in the hall every Sunday morning. All children very welcome.   

BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club finishes today for the summer holidays.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued. The small group is very friendly and there is no pressure to pray aloud if you do not wish to.

INFORMAL PRAYER TIME BEFORE THE MORNING SERVICE Come along when you can, leave when you want: for ten seconds or ten minutes. Prayer and reflection time in the hall posh room every Sunday between 10.15 and 10.45 a.m. (Psalm 65:2) Because you answer prayers, people everywhere will come to you.

PASTORAL CARE If you need some assistance, please contact the Team who are very willing to help. Either contact your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591), and we will do our best to help. Remember to allow time for arrangements to be made to be taken to appointments.

WORLD MISSION COUNCIL NEWSLETTER The latest issue of the newsletter is now available, entitled “Interfaith Engagement”. Those who subscribe to Life and Work should already have their copies. Further copies are available on the table at the back of the Church. Please help yourself.

WYVIS HOUSE Ferintosh Parish Church are delighted to lead the Wyvis House Worship Service on the 4th Sunday of every month. There is a short service at Wyvis House this afternoon at 4pm, all are welcome to come along today. ​

FERINTOSH FOCUS Copies of the June edition of the Ferintosh Focus are available in the annexe for those who kindly distribute them.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Please give in your usual generous manner to the bank. Your help is still desperately required to keep individuals and families from despair. All non-perishable foods are welcomed especially tinned meat, vegetables( such as tinned potatoes) tinned custard, long-life milk and juice. These are the main requirements but some treats for the children during the school holidays would be much appreciated. Thank you for all you already do.

  • Meeting with Guildlink partners from Port Glasgow in either Stirling or Perth (depending on transport options) 11th July
  • Guild National Gatherting Caird hall, Dundee, 1st September
