Cameron House Visit by Guild

The Guild paid a visit to Cameron House, Inverness, on Thursday 28th June.

We enjoyed various activities on the Guild theme “Go in Love”. Janet showed a mug she had been given by friends when she broke her ankle. Christine showed her locket given to her by her husband prior to their engagement. Irene showed her paper-weight with two love hearts in it she had given to her husband. Janette showed her Iona marble cross which had been a special present from her father.

We sang and played a pairing game with names of well known loves such as Romeo and Juliet. Pat read a poem based on 1 Corinthians 13.

Tales were told of some “Magic Moments” we had experienced after singing Perry Como’s song.

After a short act of worship with the residents there was time to mingle and then we enjoyed a welcome cuppa with Margaret (Activities Coordinator at Cameron House)—— CrossReach Employee of the Year!! Much deserved we would all agree.

There was just time to wander round the sensory garden which had come into being since our last visit.

Yet again a wonderful afternoon of fellowship and much love.
