Church News Sunday 1st July

HOLIDAY CLUB Our wonderful Sunday Club & FYF leaders have a well earned break for summer and we are grateful for the team running our new holiday club over the summer holidays. The holiday club will be on every Sunday from 10:50am-12noon and will meet in the hall for games, crafts, snacks and loads of FUN!

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued. The small group is very friendly and there is no pressure to pray aloud if you do not wish to.

Informal prayer time before the morning service Come along when you can, leave when you want: for ten seconds or ten minutes. Prayer and reflection time in the hall posh room every Sunday between 10.15 and 10.45 a.m. (Psalm 65:2) Because you answer prayers, people everywhere will come to you.

PASTORAL CARE If you need some assistance, please contact the Team who are very willing to help. Either contact your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591), and we will do our best to help. Remember to allow time for arrangements to be made to be taken to appointments.

50 YEARS IN MINISTRY Today we give thanks to God for Roddy & Margaret Mackinnon who celebrate being in ministry for 50 years. We are grateful for their fellowship and for their friendship in our congregation and wish them and their family God’s richest blessing.

FERINTOSH FOCUS We are very grateful to Emma Smith and the ‘Ferintosh Focus’ team who continue to produce our excellent church magazine. We appreciate the many hours and hard work that goes in to getting the quarterly magazine ready and to such a high standard, THANK YOU!!

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Please give in your usual generous manner to the bank. Your help is still desperately required to keep individuals and families from despair. All non-perishable foods are welcomed especially tinned meat, vegetables( such as tinned potatoes) tinned custard, long-life milk and juice. These are the main requirements but some treats for the children during the school holidays would be much appreciated. Thank you for all you already do.
