GUILD The Guild will be visiting Wyvis House on Friday 26th October at 2pm. We will be offering the same programme on the theme of love as we did on our visit to Cameron House back at the end of June, but all members are welcome to come along, whether or not you were able to come to Cameron House. Please let Janet Winchester (01349 865308) know if you plan to be at Wyvis House, and whether you need transport.
The Guild will be responsible for the November Soup Lunch on Friday 2nd November. Proceeds will go towards the Guild Project “A Chaplain for our Ports” (The Sailors’ Society). There is a list at the back of the Church for members to sign up to provide food items and/or practical help.
HIGHLAND FOODBANK Each week there are needy people in our community who really don’t know from where their next meal is coming. By donating to the foodbank you can help make a difference to so many lives. Just put a couple of extra items on your grocery list. It really helps. Thank you for your continuing generosity.
Blythswood Shoeboxes Leaflets regarding the 2018 appeal are available at the rear of the church and in the hall. Anyone wishing to fill a shoebox – or provide some items to be added to boxes – may hand their contribution to Mhairi Mackenzie during the weeks prior to Sunday 4th November.

Crèche Many thanks to all who came along to help sort out the crèche toys. Have a look in the crèche room and see all the wonderful new toys and equipment which we have received as a donation!
