SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.
BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club for nursery and primary children is today at 10.20am.
PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.
Informal prayer time before the morning service Come along when you can, leave when you want: for ten seconds or ten minutes. Prayer and reflection time in the hall posh room every Sunday between 10.15 and 10.45am.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY On Wednesday 21st November at 1.30pm in the Church hall, the group will meet to complete the study Of the Armour of God. We meet for approximately one hour. Please come along even if you haven’t been previously. You will be made most welcome. In the coming weeks we will be looking at Advent using the hymn “Angels in the Realms of Glory” to direct our thoughts. Maybe you’d like to try these studies. We’d be pleased to see you then.
PASTORAL CARE If you need some help either at home or to be taken to an appointment, contact the Team. This can be by your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591). We will make a big effort to be of assistance.
FERINTOSH FOCUS The next edition of the Ferintosh Focus will be published in early December. All articles must be with the Editor by Friday 30th November.
WYVIS HOUSE There will be a service at Wyvis House on Sunday 25th November at 4pm, all welcome. This is a lovely service, it’s a joy to be with the staff and residents for this short act of worship.
RETIRING COLLECTION The magnificent sum of £199.30 was raised for the Earl Haig fund last Sunday at the retiring collections.
GUILD Lists are available at the back of the Church for several forthcoming events, namely:
- Invitation to Guild Week afternoon tea by St Clements Guild Friday 23rd November at 2.30pm in St Clements’ hall.
- Ferintosh Guild Christmas lunch Monday 10th December at 12 for 12.30 in the Cottage Bar.
- Invitation to a Christmas social afternoon by Castle Street Guild Wednesday 19th December at 2.30pm in Castle Street hall.
HIGHLAND FOODBANK As always your donations make a difference to people in the Highland area. Please add one or two items to your shopping trolley for the foodbank. Non-perishable foods, toiletries, cleaning items and why not think about treating a child by putting in a selection box or some other treat to make them smile at this season. Thank you.
