SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.
BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club for nursery and primary children is today at 10.20am.
PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.
Informal prayer time before the morning service From 1015-1045 each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.
PASTORAL CARE TEAM Please contact the team if you need some help. Either through your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), and we will try to assist. Allow time for arrangements to be made if you require to be taken to appointments.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY This will be the final week of our study in Nahum. Why not come along and find out about this challenging book from a “minor” prophet? We meet in the Church Hall at 1.30pm on Wednesday 27th February for approximately an hour. The following week is the start of Lent and we hope to look at “The Final Week”, a five part Bible study by John Birch. Please give prayerful consideration to coming along for the run up to the important festival of Easter. A warm welcome awaits.
ANNUAL STATED MEETING The Congregational Annual Stated Meeting will take place in the Church hall at 7pm on Wednesday 20th March. Copies of the Trustees report are available for Elders to uplift.
BUNDLES OF FUN For all parents/carers, babies + toddlers, every Thursday in the hall from 1pm-2:30pm. Come along and relax over a cup of tea/coffee whilst you watch the children play.
KIRK SESSION The Kirk Session will meet at 7.00pm on Thursday 7th March in the Church Hall. Minutes and the Agenda have now been circulated to all elders who have email and are available for uplift for those who do not. If you have not received your copy, please let the Session Clerk know.
HOLY COMMUNION Next Sunday, 3rd March, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion at our morning service at 11.00am and at our evening service at 6.30pm. This is always a good opportunity for anyone who wishes to profess their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour to do so by becoming a member of the local church. Please speak to the minister or any elder to find out more about faith and commitment. The Kirk Session are asked to meet in the small hall at 10.45am prior to morning worship.
HIGHLAND FOODBANK There is a new container for your donations to make it easier to transport your very generous contributions to the car and to the pick-up point. Please still use carrier bags because they too are welcome for people to take food home from the foodbank. We are particularly asked for washing-up liquid, washing powder (small packets), ladies deodorant as well as pot noodles, tins of ham, diluting juice and Smash (dried potato). You know that all non-perishable food is most welcome at all times. Thank you.
SOUP LUNCH The last Soup Lunch for this session will be held in the Church hall on Friday 1st March starting at 12 noon. Why not come along for some home-made soup, tea, coffee etc? This gives the opportunity to meet up with friends and enjoy the all important time to chat. We look forward to seeing you there. GUILD The Guild will meet on Monday 4th March at 2pm in the Church Hall where the subject is “Seeking God’s Way”. Irene Munro will give an insight into her personal journey towards Ordained Local Ministry. The Guild is for everyone, male or female, young and not so young. A warm welcome will be given to you and, of course, a welcome cuppa too. There will be a Bring and Buy stall for Guild funds at this meeting. See you there!

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER World Day of Prayer 2019 is Friday 1st March. There will be a service in Castle Street Church hall at 7.30pm on that day, to which all are warmly invited. The Order of Service has been prepared by Christian women in Slovenia. If anyone plans to attend and is willing to read a short section of the service, please let Janet Winchester know.
