BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club for nursery and primary children is today at 10.20am.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 1015-1045 each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM You can give us a call if you need some help. Call your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591), and we will do our best to assist. Remember to allow time for arrangements to be made if you need to be taken to an appointment.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY As intimated last week, the Bible Study group are having a break until September and look forward to having many of you come along then. On Wednesday we had an “end of term” outing to the Biblical Garden in Elgin, a really peaceful and inspiring place. The ladies donated £75 to the Scottish Bible Society to help those in deprived areas of Scotland to access a new NIV translation which will be a help in studying the Bible together. Thank you all.

BUNDLES OF FUN For all parents/carers, babies + toddlers, every Thursday in the hall from 1pm-2:30pm. Come along and relax over a cup of tea/coffee whilst you watch the children play.

WORLD MISSION COUNCIL USED STAMP APPEAL The appeal this 50th  anniversary year is in aid of the Chigodi Women Centre, Blantyre, Malawi, which is also celebrating 50 years of providing women with skills for life and for trades which enable them to set up small businesses. For more information see:  Please keep saving your stamps. If you would like a little red post van to help you (see model in annexe), please take a copy of the template, or print one yourself from the above website.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK The school holidays are nearly upon us and we would be grateful if you would donate to the foodbank to help those struggling to make ends meet. The article in the P & J this week really showed how great the need is. Please help in your usual generous fashion. The container is in the annex of the Church each Sunday.

PLANTS There will be fuchsias available for a small donation in the Church Hall after this morning’s service. All proceeds will go towards the children’s funds. Come for tea/coffee and take home some delightful plants!

INFORMATION AVAILABLE The following are available on the table at the back of the Church:

  1. The latest edition of the World council newsletter, focussing mainly on the council’s report to the recent General Assembly, and the overseas guests who attended;
