SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF are finished for the summer holidays. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.
HOLIDAY CLUB Holiday club starts today at 10.50 and will run through the school holidays.
BREAKFAST CLUB Breakfast Club for nursery and primary children is today at 10.20am and then takes a break for the summer holidays and resumes on 25th August.
PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.
Informal prayer time before the morning service From 1015-1045 each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.
PASTORAL CARE TEAM The team is still available during the holiday season to be of assistance. Please contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591), and we will do our best to help. Do allow time for arrangements to be made.
SEAFORTH HOUSE There will be a service at Seaforth House today at 3pm. The residents really enjoy worshiping with our Ferintosh team. Some months our team is a bit short in number so if any of you would consider joining with us any time you would be very welcome.
PLANT SALE The final sum after last week’s sale amounted to £175.55. This will go to the Church’s Youth Fund, and a sincere thank you to everyone who helped in any way whatsoever.
HIGHLAND FOODBANK School holidays mean no main meals for some children. Please think about donating to the foodbank at this difficult time for families who are struggling to make ends meet. Any non-perishable food items are welcome. Unfortunately, the foodbank cannot accept homemade foods since production cannot be guaranteed. Why not put a couple of things into you shopping trolley and place in the collection container in the annex of the church? Thank you all for your amazing generosity in the past.
INFORMATION AVAILABLE The following are available on the table at the back of the Church:
- The latest edition of the World council newsletter, focussing mainly on the council’s report to the recent General Assembly, and the overseas guests who attended;
- The latest edition of Dochas, the newsletter of The Leprosy Mission (Scotland);
- Leaflets about the Highland Hospice Befrienders scheme, as described in the recent Ferintosh Focus.
