PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 10.15-10.45am each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY Could this group be “for you”? Why not come along on Wednesday 2nd October to the Church Hall at 1.30pm for approximately an hour when we continue our look at Ezra? Look forward to welcoming you there.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM  For help with small tasks, journey to appointments or just a drop-by for a chat, call the Team and we will try our best to assist. Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591). Please allow as much time as possible to arrange.

BUNDLES OF FUN For all parents/carers, babies + toddlers, every Thursday in the hall from 1pm-2:30pm. Come along and relax over a cup of tea/coffee whilst you watch the children play.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING Grateful thanks to all who helped in any way in decorating the church for Harvest Thanksgiving. Flowers can be uplifted following the morning service for distribution and we would appreciate as much help as possible. It is important that we know who receives the flowers so please can you add the recipient’s name to the list, which will be in the annex. Thank you.

SOUP LUNCH The first Soup Lunch of this session will take place in the Church Hall on Friday 4th October, starting at 12noon. This social event gives the opportunity to meet up for a chat, while enjoying some delicious home-made soup, followed by a cuppa and biscuits. Why not drop in and join us? We look forward to welcoming you there.

This meeting is an open meeting for anyone in our community to attend. Please come along and invite a friend to hear about this initiative. The Guild is for all, young and old, male and female. Come, enjoy fellowship and, of course, a welcome cuppa!

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church Hall on Wednesday 9th October from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not take the chance to come along for some tea/coffee and home bakes while enjoying a seat and chat. We look forward to seeing you there!

CROSSREACH The CrossReach Calendar sample is to hand for Christmas. Since we need to place an order soon to allow folk to post abroad more cheaply, there is a sheet at the back of the Church and in the Church Hall so that you can order. No money required until we receive the order. This year there are also samples of the cards you can order from the catalogue. These samples and the catalogues will be in the Church Hall after the service. All monies received from the sale of these items help the Social Care Work of the Church of Scotland to provide care for the most vulnerable in our society. Your support is much appreciated. Today is the last chance to order since we need to get the calendars in time for posing abroad

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Long life juice, tins of potatoes, tins of stew/mince, oatcakes/crackers, tins of ham and shower gel/shampoo are the six items this congregation has been asked to donate this Harvest Season. May I commend your ongoing generosity. Unfortunately the need is great and any non-perishable items will be gratefully received by the Foodbank and recipients.

LECTURE Dr Bruce Ritchie will be delivering a Highland Theological College/Christian Focus Public Lecture: The Celtic faith of St Columba in Dingwall Free Church at 7:30pm on Monday 7th October.
