PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued.

Informal prayer time before the morning service From 10.15-10.45am each Sunday the posh room is available for prayer spoken and unspoken, for our church, for the world and for current needs. You can come and go within that time so no need to stay for the half an hour. Feel free to drop in.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY Could this group be “for you”? Why not come along on Wednesday 9th October to the Church Hall at 1.30pm for approximately an hour when we continue our look at Ezra? Look forward to welcoming you there.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM  For help with small tasks, journey to appointments or just a drop-by for a chat, call the Team and we will try our best to assist. Contact either your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349861591). Please allow as much time as possible to arrange.

BUNDLES OF FUN For all parents/carers, babies + toddlers, every Thursday in the hall from 1pm-2:30pm. Come along and relax over a cup of tea/coffee whilst you watch the children play.

GUILD The Guild meets tomorrow evening, Monday 7th October at 7.30pm in the Church Hall when the speaker will be talking about the Highland Hospice Befriender Scheme. This meeting is an open meeting for anyone in our community to attend. Please come along and invite a friend to hear about this initiative. The Guild is for all, young and old, male and female. Come, enjoy fellowship and, of course, a welcome cuppa!

Kilmuir and Logie Easter Guild have invited Kate Forbes, MSP to talk on “Religion in Politics” in Logie Easter Church tomorrow 7th October at 7.30pm. Anyone interested in this topic will be made welcome there.

RIVER CAFÉ The next River Cafe takes place in the Church Hall on Wednesday 9th October from 2pm-3.30pm. Why not take the chance to come along for some tea/coffee and home bakes while enjoying a seat and chat. We look forward to seeing you there!

SUNDAY TEAS – Can you Help? It is good that so many people stay after both Sunday services to have a chat and cuppa as this is an important part of the fellowship of our church. There is a new list in the church hall for names but unfortunately, we are a bit low on “volunteers”. Would you be willing to provide milk and biscuits (no baking is required) on an occasional basis so that we can continue to provide this worthwhile and enjoying time together? Your help would be most welcome. Many thanks.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Thank you for the terrific response to the appeal for food and toiletries. Unfortunately, the need is ongoing and getting greater, sadly. Please add something each week to your shopping list for the foodbank.

SEAFORTH HOUSE The service at Seaforth House will be at 3pm this afternoon. Any extra helpers at the worship will be very welcome.

LECTURE Dr Bruce Ritchie will be delivering a Highland Theological College/Christian Focus Public Lecture: The Celtic faith of St Columba in Dingwall Free Church at 7:30pm on Monday 7th October.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Stephen Macdonald can be contacted on 864273 if required for any Pastoral duties.
