HIGHLAND FOODBANK Please give generously to this enterprise. The need grows each week, it would seem. Please place items of non-perishable food, toiletries, cleaning materials in the box in the annex. UHT and tins of ham or meat are very acceptable indeed. Thank you.

SOUP LUNCH There is to be a Soup Lunch in the Church Hall on Friday 6th March starting at 12 midday. Why not join us for some delicious homemade soup, tea and biscuits and the chance to chat together.  There will also be the opportunity to see the short video about the recent Toilet Twinning Project. There is a list at the back of the church for contributions to the lunch. We look forward to seeing you there.

TOILETTWINNING.ORG The sum of £502 (with Gift Aid this should be around £600) has been donated to this cause and will be used for toilets in Bangladesh. The organisers have said it will be used for toilets for schools but also for refugee camps which is very humbling knowing that we are helping in this small way. The members of the Bible Study group thank the anonymous donors, the Line Dancing Class and the Social Committee for making their target of £240 a reality and then some! You can see the twinning certificates in the Church Hall toilets now with GPS coordinates showing exactly where our money has been sent to assist – one school block and one refugees block. Do take a look and thanks for all who made this possible.

GUILD The next meeting of the Guild will take place on Monday 2nd March at 7.30pm in the Church Hall. The speaker for the evening is Janette Steele, CrossReach Regional Speaker on “CrossReach at 150”. This is an open meeting for all who’d like to attend. Do come along and bring your friends.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER The 2020 World Day of Prayer service will be held in St Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Castle St, Dingwall on Friday 6th March at 7.30pm. The service has been prepared by Christian women from Zimbabwe, on the theme: “Rise, take your mat and walk”. Ferintosh is asked to provide two readers. If you are able to be a reader, or if you would like to attend and require transport, please speak to Janet Winchester.

PASTORAL DUTIES Rev’d Stephen Macdonald can be contacted on 864273 if required for any Pastoral duties.
