Church News Sunday 21st January

SUNDAY CLUB AND FYF Sunday Club and FYF meet today at 10.50am. There is a Crèche for pre-school children each Sunday morning.

PRAYER GROUP Prayer meetings continue on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Church hall. Prayer is the essential powerhouse of the Church and your participation would be greatly valued. The small group is very friendly and there is no pressure to pray aloud if you do not wish to.

PASTORAL CARE Please don’t hesitate to call on the team for help. Either contact your elder or the coordinator, Janette Steele (01349 861591), and we will do our very best to assist. Please allow time for arrangements to be made to take you to appointments.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY This Wedn  esday at 1.30pm in the Church hall is when the group meets. We are trying a slightly different way of study for a few weeks with the topic “Living a Life of True Worship”. Each study will be self-contained in the hour for which we meet. If you would like to give it a try, please come along on the 24th. You will receive a very warm welcome.

LOCAL CHURCH REVIEW The Ross Presbytery Local Church Review for Ferintosh Parish Church takes place on the evening of Wednesday 31st January in the Church hall at 7.00pm (provisional). The Local Church Review has replaced the Quinquennial visit. Information has been provided to Presbytery by the Kirk Session and further discussions will take place on the evening of the Review. Members of the congregation are welcome to come attend on the 31st.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Please donate to this worthy cause. Place donations of non-perishable food, toiletries and even pet food in the basket in the annex. Your help makes such a difference to people who are struggling to make ends meet in our local area.

SOUP LUNCH The next Soup Lunch takes place in the Church hall on Friday 2nd February at 12 noon. This offers the opportunity to meet up for a chat while enjoying some delicious home-made soup, followed by tea and biscuits. We look forward to welcoming you there.

BEETLE DRIVE There is to be another Beetle Drive in the Church hall on Saturday 10th February starting at 6.30pm (finishing approx. 9pm). Cost is £1/head for adults and 50p/head for children. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you at what is always a fun event.
